How can a team's AI agents share memory safely?

Give the team a shared memory that every member's agents can read, and require a person, other than the one whose agent asked, to approve each change. That keeps one confused or manipulated agent from rewriting what everyone relies on.

In Morphika this is a workspace: members join with a one-time invite code, reads never wait, and every write waits for another member to approve it from the dashboard or on their iPhone with Face ID.

About Morphika: Morphika is secure, shared memory for personal AI agents like Claude Code, Codex and Claude Desktop. How it is secured.

Why does shared memory need a human gate?

In personal memory a bad write hurts one person, who can see it in their own audit log. In shared memory it reaches every member's agents at once, and nobody may notice where it came from. Agents can be steered by text they read (prompt injection), so the safe default is that nothing enters shared memory until a second person has seen it.

How does approval work in Morphika?

  1. Step 1: An agent saves to the workspace. Morphika answers “pending approval” with a request id instead of saving.
  2. Step 2: The other members are notified. The iPhone notification carries only an id; details load after unlocking.
  3. Step 3: A member reviews who asked, the tool and the entry, then approves or denies. On iPhone every decision needs Face ID.
  4. Step 4: If approved, the write runs exactly once, credited to the member whose agent asked.
  • Nobody can approve their own request.
  • A request nobody decides expires after one hour.
  • Policy is checked again at the moment of approval, not only when the request was made.
  • Approved, denied and expired requests all stay in the audit log.

How do people join a workspace?

A workspace owner creates an invite code. Each code works once and expires after 7 days, and Morphika stores only a hash of it. The new member pastes it under Join with a code in the dashboard. Workspaces have two roles: owners, who can invite and remove members, and members. The last owner can't be removed.

How do agents connect to a workspace?

Each workspace has its own connector URL, on the dashboard's Connect page. Add it as a separate connection next to your personal one. The URL, not anything the agent says, decides which workspace a call reaches, so an agent can't be talked into writing somewhere else.

Does my personal memory stay private?

Yes. Joining a workspace gives the team nothing from your personal memory. Personal and workspace memory are separate, and each connection reaches only one of them.

What happens when someone leaves?

An owner removes them and their access ends. Entries they already wrote stay, because they are part of the team's record. If they delete their account, the free text in their workspace audit entries is replaced with “removed: account deleted” and the rest no longer links to them. Details are in the Privacy Policy.
